Chapter 1237: The Divine Tablet’s Emergence

“They are your ancestors who have passed away a long time ago. Pay your respect.” The turtle said.

The two sensed a deep connection with the blue statues and knew the turtle was right. At the very least, it had more credibility than Feng Feiyun.

They prostrated and lowered their head.

Inside the temple was a mysterious force blocking the blood from coming inside. Spirit energy was replaced by a dao presence brimming with saint affinity.

Cultivating here would help one reach the dao ten times faster than the outside world. Feiyun was confident in reaching the eighth level within three years.

“The bow... and arrow.” Feiyun focused on something else. They seemed inconspicuous at first but this wasn’t the case.

The bow was slightly taller than the statue and no longer had the string. It looked like the spine of a dragon, looking natural yet flawless.

He couldn’t help tracing his finger across it. The contact caused the bow to issue a deafening light.

Countless saint rays circulated and smashed his chest, slamming him against the wall.

“Boom!” Feiyun got down on one knee. Every bone in his body broke except the 356 phoenix ones.

He vomited blood and stared at the bow in disbelief.

“Is... this the legendary bow?” He asked the turtle.

It prostrated again before nodding its head in his direction.

Feiyun became startled for the second time. No wonder why I’m so injured.

“I would be unstoppable with it.” He said excitedly.

“In your dream, you can’t pull it before becoming a saint. Plus, I believe this is just a shadow, the real thing is most likely hidden in Divine World.” The turtle said.

Feiyun’s interest waned since he couldn’t truly obtain this legendary weapon. Now, the pain resurfaced and he hurriedly used Buddhist energy to heal his wounds. It would be bad news if Thirteenth were to come right now.

“Rumble!” It could have been due to Feiyun’s touch but the palace trembled.

The blood in the lake started rushing toward the altar within the palace. A bloody light became activated.

Everyone swimming in the lake became frightened. They used their artifacts to not be pulled by the currents.

After one hour, the lake was entirely dried. The yang behemoths became active and launched an attack on the rising stars.

“We have to run!” Busi Butai smashed the head of one before turning into a white tiger and flying away.

Phoenix Goddess and the others did the same. They were pursued by dozens of yang behemoths and didn’t have time to worry about Feiyun.

The main gate to the palace had closed, leaving behind a dark expanse. The altar and the palace suddenly sank to the ground.

“It’s moving, where is it taking us?” Ji Xinnu became afraid and inched closer to Feiyun.

“This is your ancestors’ palace, they can read the past and the future. Perhaps they already knew of your arrival and are giving you a grand fortune now.” Feiyun smiled.

After all, these ancestors were the wielders of Immortal-break Bow and Saint-killer Arrow.

Despite saying this, Feiyun had no idea what was going on. It might not just be due to his contact with the bow.

He suddenly felt a scorching heat burning all of his clothes. He tapped on the source and a fiery stone fell to the ground, lighting up the palace.

This turned out to be a destruction stone the size of a finger, reflecting images of massacres.

At the center of the immemorial ruins, the personal palace of Terra Grand Saint crumbled. An abyss spanning millions of miles coursed through it.

Within this abyss was an apocalyptic aura turning the sky dark. The rising stars were lucky since they had fled the area due to the yang behemoths. Otherwise, it would have annihilated them.

Nine thousand miles below the abyss was a massive tablet with death energy. Only one corner was shown along with a rusty hammer with a golden glow. It seemed to be pushing the tablet down.

“Rumble!” The tablet shook violently and released death energy, wanting to escape.ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

Another corner was shown along with another hammer. Several powerful weapons were doing the same thing, one being a divine sword with a draconic hilt and bloody blade.

Alas, the tablet had broken the seal and the weapons couldn’t fully suppress it. It continued to float upward and escaping was only a matter of time.

The rising stars were far away and could only watch the changes. Death energy oozed out and turned mud into blood.

“What the hell is this?! Those yang behemoths were turned into ashes!” They all shuddered upon seeing this.

The destruction aura didn’t only alert those in this world. All the sacred ancestors, demon emperors, and demon queens took note of this.

They became anxious since doomsday was approaching.

There existed a nirvana pond in the land of the phoenixes - the resting place of these mythical birds. It contained the blood of more than ten thousand phoenix saints and served as the holy ground.

A fair-skinned woman flew out of the pond; her red hair draped downward like a waterfall. Her eyes were profound and contained countless stars. Each strand of hair stored numerous dao.

She had cultivated in the pond for ten thousand years, ready to reach an unimaginable level. Alas, she had to leave her training due to the presence of the destruction aura.

Her title was Soaring. She gazed at the horizon and understood what was going on - the return of World Destruction.

“Demon Queen, the calamity is coming?” An old woman kneeled by the pond. She had a red coral staff with saint laws forming inscrutable runes.

“I must go to Spirit Immortal World, I leave the mountain to you.” Soaring Phoenix Queen disappeared. Her voice was ethereal and undefiable.

To the center of Chaos City was an expanse with a timeworn palace. A white-haired man walked out from the ruins. His robe was tattered but his skin and eyes were luminous. Spirit energy automatically flowed to him.

“The inevitable has come.” He sighed and disappeared as well.

The supremes from all the races had no choice but to run to Spirit Immortal World.

Meanwhile, Feng Feiyun observed the burning stone inside the palace and had an ominous feeling.

He didn’t know the true reason for the palace sinking to the ground - it sensed the appearance of the tablet and wanted to hide.
