“The Origin Mountain?”
Qin Nan wore a curious look. He started crossing the river.
Enormous creatures were swimming ten feet below him with sinister auras.
“Yes, the Origin Mountain is where cultivators achieve the Supreme Highness Realm. It’s located in the deep sector of the Middle Mysterious Realm,” Zhou Xundao said.
“A place to achieve the Supreme Highness Realm? Does a place like that really exist in the Blue Heavens?”
Qin Nan was startled.
“My master, you would be surprised. This Origin Mountain isn’t naturally formed in the Blue Heavens.”
Jiaye said, “During the ancient era, there’s only a Heaven Highness Battlefield in the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm. Every tribe in the Master Realm can achieve the Ruler Realm and Heaven Highness Realm there, but that’s all it does.”
“Many Heaven Highnesses worked together to look for a way to achieve the Supreme Highness Realm. They broke the barrier of the First Immortal Realm and discovered the Blue Heavens.”
“After exploring the Blue Heavens for a long time, Cang and the rest of the Heaven Highnesses, a total of ninety-nine of them went to the deep sector of the Middle Mysterious Realm. They refined six different godly objects in the Blue Heavens and established all kinds of rules to attract many beasts in the Heaven Highness Realm to construct the Origin Mountain.”
“The mystical mountain contains the Dao of many Rules and the Origin Force. One would also have the chance to achieve the Supreme Highness Realm at its top.”
Qin Nan took a deep breath.
He could imagine how spectacular the scene was.
“Does the Origin Mountain still exist?” Qin Nan asked.
If the Origin Mountain was gone, there was no longer a place in the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm to achieve the Supreme Highness Realm. Even if they learned from the ancients and try to construct the Origin Mountain, they would have to wait a long time until there had ninety-nine Heaven Highnesses.
“It should still be around. They have established the rule of requiring thirty-three human Heaven Highnesses to break open the seal and summon the Origin Mountain if anyone wants to achieve the Supreme Highness Realm.”
“Otherwise, the Origin Mountain would be completely sealed off.”
“After all, there are too many terrifying existences in the Blue Heavens. They can’t afford to let these terrifying existences destroy the Origin Mountain,” Jiaye said.
“Qin Nan, now that Cang and Ye Zhaoxian has returned, they would try everything to break the seal of the Origin Mountain and achieve the Supreme Highness Realm. As a result, they are going to do everything to help the Rulers of Dao achieve the Heaven Highness Realm in the near future.”
“You could use their help to become a Heaven Highness,” Zhou Xundao said.
“Mm.”
Qin Nan kept it in mind.
He soon reached the Middle Mysterious Realm.
The strange auras were ten times stronger than the Lower Mysterious Realm. There were a lot more deadly traps and auras which were harder to detect. Qin Nan could only see some of them with the Immortal Eyes of the Divine God of Battle.
Qin Nan transmitted a message to Empress Feiyue. He kept going forward after confirming the direction.
“Mm?”
Qin Nan suddenly came to a stop with a puzzled look.
Did he just sense a shudder from the Divine Battle Spirit?
Qin Nan summoned the Divine Battle Spirit without any hesitation. A faint purple light was flowing on it. Its aura was also significantly stronger than how it was usually.
The Divine Battle Spirit turned its head slightly as if it was being summoned. It was no longer looking in front of it.
“The Sacred Boulder of the Immortals must have gotten its attention. After all, Xiang Zun was its successor,” Zhou Xundao said.
Qin Nan nodded. He withdrew the Divine Battle Spirit. However, they did not notice a purple-golden flicker flashing across the Divine Battle Spirit’s hollow eyes.
Wu Di who was inside the Nine Dragons Seal frowned as he sensed something too, but he soon ignored it and continued to mind his own business.
Time gradually passed. Ten days were gone in no time.
Qin Nan had reached the middle sector of the Middle Mysterious Realm.
“That must be the mountain.”
Qin Nan looked into the distance and transmitted his thought at the snowy peak. A sacred light soon flew out of it and landed in front of him. It took shape of a gorgeous woman, whose sleeves were drifting in the wind.
Her attractive face was not wearing any emotion, but her faint blue eyes were full of surprise.
“Qin Nan, you came!”
She naturally reached out her hands to give Qin Nan a hug.
Qin Nan stiffened.
Ji Jinzi sharply noticed his reaction. The light in her eyes dimmed as she withdrew her hands. She said, “I’m sorry, I feel close to you after seeing everything Empress Feiyue has gone through, so I want to hug you subconsciously.”
Qin Nan felt a little awkward when he heard the words which he never had the chance to hear before. He looked at the woman’s familiar face and felt a strange yet familiar aura from her.
“It’s fine, I’m just not used to it,” Qin Nan rubbed his nose.
“Does that mean I can hug you?” Ji Jinzi blinked.
“Ugh, well…”
Qin Nan was lost for words. He quickly switched the topic, “Is the other half of the Soul Accumulating Book far from us?”
Ji Jinzi was amused. She was struggling to believe a Ruler of Dao would be so unsophisticated when it came to the relationship between a man and a woman when she experienced Empress Feiyue’s memories.
It turned out it was indeed the case after meeting Qin Nan in person.
She found it interesting.
Ji Jinzi shook her head to calm her thoughts. She took out an ancient book.
Qin Nan glanced at it. There was nothing special about the book, except for the missing half. It was engulfed in a dark aura. He could not peek through it with his eye-technique. He could only sense a strong spiritual energy from it.
“The other half is in the deeper sector. It will take us eight days to reach it,” Ji Jinzi said.
“Alright!”
Qin Nan nodded and transmitted his thought to the Nine Dragons Seal.
Wu Di did not say anything. He just shone a seven-colored light on Ji Jinzi.
“How magical…so the light is going to keep us safe?”
Ji Jinzi observed the light curiously.
“Mm, the deadly traps and beasts won’t pick up our presence.”
“Oh? That’s impressive. I won’t have trouble retrieving the other half of the Soul Accumulating Book then. Let’s go!”
She grabbed Qin Nan’s right hand with her pale and cold hand and flew into the distance.
