Mystery Moon Realm, Celestial Tower.

Suddenly, I stopped my attack, seeing the wall blocking me to the realm core disappear.

I now have a clear view of the realm core, but it is not the only thing that is in my view. There is another thing; a figure clads in a silvery mist.

I looked at the figure and felt like lightning had stuck me; I shook, and tears started to flow through my eyes.

I had never believed it would happen.

Though I know she had practiced the reincarnation method to perfection and there is a faint chance, she could come back through the reincarnation.

I didn’t let myself have hope, but now, she is standing in front of me.

She had covered herself in mist. That not even her silhouette could be seen, but she didn’t need to reveal herself to me to know who she was.

“Who are you?” asked a voice from behind and mist moved, showing us a silhouette, who had now turned to us, to me.

I wanted to leap at her and wrap my arms around her like I used to, but I didn’t.

I am ashamed.

She had left the realm powerful, and I reduced it to the current state. I feel ashamed that I didn’t dare to look at her directly into her eyes.

“Won’t you give mother a hug darling?” said the voice, and I leaped at her before I could stop myself.

A moment later, I had my arms wrapped around her, with her hand gently caressing my back.

“Mom, I am sorry,” I said, crying.

“Why are you sorry, my darling? You have done a wonderful job in my absence.” She said.

“Though I would say, you would have found a better mate than Karis, but that could be forgiven since there is a grandchild,” she said, looking at Tnor.

A small laugh couldn’t escape my mouth as I let go of the hug. She still disapproves of Karis, and that hasn’t changed, even in her death and reincarnation.

I let go of the hug and turned to her. I was about to open my mouth and say how much I had missed her when I noticed something on my mother’s head.

“False titan,” I said, in shock.

I am not shocked by False Titan as much as shocked that he is sitting on the head of my mother, and looking around curiously.

He is sitting on the head of the titaness of the mystery moon; nobody would believe it if they came to know.

Even my husband is shocked seeing that.

Mother didn’t have the reputation of being caring. She was a powerful warrior, who put fear in the heart of abominations.

“Darling, meet Nero. He is a preconscious little child, with a penchant for danger,” she introduced, as she took him in her hand and caressed him gently.

Seeing the love in her eyes for a false titan, I couldn’t feel a pang of jealousy for a moment. I pushed the childish emotions away and focused on false titan.

A moment later, a deep shock couldn’t help but appear on my face.

This false titan is pitifully weak. At just the 4th level of the ladder. I should have been able to see everything about him, seeing how he had formed and everything, but I am not seeing anything.

I first thought that Mother was blocking me, but she didn’t; she was just looking at me with a smile.

“You will not be able to see anything, dear,” said Mother and I looked at her question, but there was that smile on her face.

The smile that will provide no answer.

“Welcome to the mystery moon realm, Nero,” I said with a smile and tried petting him, but stopped, seeing him glaring at me.

He seemed angry and sad for some reason.

“I hope you have tasty food here Ashlyn; I don’t want to eat food made by father too quickly,” he said a moment later.

Ashlyn?

Father?

I looked at Mom, but there was that irritating smile on her face again. It seemed like it would be hard to get anything out of mother, related to this false titan.

Though one is clear; this is no simple false titan.

“Of course, we have more food than your father had ever read in his books,” said mom with a smile, but instead of being happy, the false titan glared at mom.

“Of course. It wouldn’t be a realm of a celestial tower without it,” replied the false titan and turned to people behind me.

I wanted to hit my head, but instead, I turned to the two men.

I looked at my husband apologetically before turning to my son, who was looking at mom in shock.

“Tnor come here and meet your grandmother,” I said. He didn’t move for a second, before appearing beside me.

He was born thousands of years after his mother’s death and only heard about her. Of all three, he felt the biggest pressure to live up to her legacy and worked hard to achieve the power he has.

“Grandmother,” he greeted.

Mom looked at him, and tears appeared in her eyes.

“Hello Grandchild,” said mother and turned to me. “My mother would have been ecstatic seeing him; he had inherited her powers,” she said with tears in her eyes, before taking Tnor in her arms.

Mother didn’t inherit Grandma’s powers, nor did I; it was a great surprise when he was born with her powers.

Tnor stiffened at mother’s hug before melding in it.

She let go of Tnor and turned to Karis and I hope; she didn’t say something bad.

She never approved of Karis, thinking he didn’t deserve me.

“Karis, thank you for being with my daughter, in what would have been a difficult time,” said mother, shocking me and Karis by her words.

“Thank you for your kind words, Mistress,” replied Karis, and bowed faintly.

“You can call me mother-in-law Karis,” said mom, and joy lit in my husband’s eyes; seeing it, tears couldn’t help, but well up in my eyes.

He had waited for eons for this acceptance.

“Thank you for the honor, mother-in-law,” he said, with tears dripping through his eyes.

“You have earned it, Karis,” she said and turned back to me, with her expression serious.

Once again, the shame filled me.

“Stop that, love, you have done a great job. I am very proud of you,” said mom, hugging me once more.

“I just wish; even if I couldn’t ascend the realm higher, I should have been strong enough to keep it at its place, instead of letting it descend into the lower levels of the tower,” I said, crying.

“When I died; you couldn’t even hold the weight of realm.”

“If anyone had been in your place; they wouldn’t have been able to keep the realm in the tower, but you have kept it,”

“Even I wouldn’t have been able to do that if I had been in your place. You should be proud of what you have done,” she said, patting me gently.

“Still, we have fallen so low,” I said. “Let mother recover and rising again to our previous place wouldn’t be a problem,”

“We wouldn’t just ascend to our previous place, but ascend even higher,” she said, and I shook.

I still remember the battle where my mother died. She had killed the enemy, that even the realm lord of 3rd level of real couldn’t kill, with all the people he had.

If mom recovered her past strength, ascending to the high-floors of the tower, wouldn’t be a problem for them.

Though it won’t be easy, if anybody could do it, then it would be Mom and she sounded confident of that.

If mother is confident, then she already has a clear way of that.
